• The Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) is a regional organization composed of Member States. CARPHA is the Health Agency of the Caribbean region with collective response to strengthen and reorient the health system and approach to address the changing nature of public health challenges, particularly in relation to communicable diseases such as HIV / AIDS and Non-Communicable Diseases, such as obesity, cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. CARPHA will support this by adopting a truly people-centered, evidence-based approach to its work. It will continue to address long term persistent threats to the Region related to natural disasters.

To achieve its purposes, CARPHA must support an internal environment that nurtures its staff and encourages trust, open communication and consensus building. This Code of Ethical Principles and Conduct should guide your day-to-day decisions to ensure that your actions support our mission and demonstrate our values. Participants need to be particularly aware of CARPHAs stance on discrimination.
